The Gundel Palace is 130 years old and for more than 100 years it has been one of the most prestigious event venues and catering services in Hungary.
From discreet meetings to grandiose gala events, we provide a myriad of event options, whether it's a private or corporate event, a wedding or a high-level protocol meeting.
We have hosted kings, princes, heads of government and world celebrities in our restaurant.
The most memorable meetings were the reception of US President George H. W. Bush in 1989 and British Queen Elizabeth II in 1993, as well as the reception of Pope John Paul II in Pannonhalma in 1996 and Pope Francis in the Museum of Fine Arts in 2021, with Gundel's famous dishes.Â
