Is the charity part of the event?
Yes. The Tompos Kátya Foundation is a featured partner of the Gundel Ball 2027. We support the Foundation’s work and the arts through a portion of the event’s proceeds and on-site charity initiatives.
How can I buy tickets for the ball?
Tickets are currently available for reservation through a pre-registration process.
Official ticket sales will begin in August. Tickets can only be purchased in advance online via Gundel’s official website and the Cooltix ticketing system.
For individual or corporate requests, tickets can be purchased by contacting us directly. Tickets are not sold on-site.
What types of tickets are available?
Various ticket categories and exclusive table seating packages are available for the ball. We will post details about what each ticket includes (e.g., welcome drink, gala dinner, premium wine selection) on our website.

What's your menu for the ball?
The exclusive gala dinner for the Gundel Ball was created by Gundel’s Executive Chef, Róbert Vérten, and our Corporate Chef, András Wolf.
The menu is a fusion of traditional Hungarian top-class gastronomy and modern culinary trends, which fits perfectly with the evening’s film theme.
Are special menus (vegetarian, vegan, allergy-friendly) available?
Yes. Please let us know of any special dietary requirements (gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, vegan, or other allergies) when purchasing your tickets, or at the latest 14 days before the event, so that our chefs can prepare a personalized menu for you.
Who will be the hosts and performers for the evening?
Throughout the evening, renowned artists and surprise guests will provide entertainment, and the hosts will be well-known, prominent figures from the Hungarian cultural and film scenes. We will publish the detailed program and list of performers on our website shortly.
What is the dress code for the event?
The official dress code for the Gundel Ball: Black Tie (Tuxedos and black bow ties for gentlemen; floor-length evening gowns for ladies).
Given the exclusive nature of the event and its film-themed concept, we ask that you adhere to the dress code, which will be checked at the entrance.
Is there parking available on site?
There are a limited number of public parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of Gundel Palace.

The program for the 2026 Gundel Ball combined the traditional atmosphere of a ball with the excitement of a modern experience.
On this evening, the Palace building was transformed into a unique stage, where our guests were not merely spectators but also the stars of the event.
Every moment of the ball was composed so that the transition between music, dance, art, games, and gastronomy would be natural, continuous, and enjoyable.
Every room in the Gundel Palace has been transformed into an experience.
The program, the dancing, the cuisine, the live music, the modern visuals, and the interactive performances came together to create a unique and elegant ball experience.
On the ground floor and upper floor, bands, singers, and the first ballgoers created a celebratory atmosphere, while in the wine cellar, a DJ set the tone with the rhythms of a lighthearted, slightly mysterious nightlife.
Those who stepped away from the dance floor were greeted outside, beneath the starry sky, by the spectacular sight of Jupiter and its moons.
Live music, dancing, modern visuals, and interactive elements came together to create a unique ball experience.
A digitally created hologram of Károly Gundel welcomed the guests. There was stargazing on the terrace and interactive activities: a touchable universe exhibit, as well as blackjack and roulette tables, ensuring that everyone played an active role in shaping the evening. The venue spoke for itself, and the photo spots captured the sparkle that everyone brought with them that night.
The event was also a culinary highlight: a formal dinner, an elegant reception, light snacks, a champagne and chocolate bar, multiple music venues, and open-access areas awaited guests from the cellar to the upper floor.
The range of music provided entertainment for all ages: a ballroom dance band and a jazz-inspired musical performance featuring Lili Fehér, Timi Arany, and Balázs Kókai.
Then Imre Rakonczai’s piano party set and the DJ set in the wine cellar really got the party going.
