What is the minimum amount for a gift voucher?
Gift vouchers can be purchased in predetermined amounts.
The currently available denominations can be selected on the Cooltix ordering interface.
The guest can use the entire value of the voucher to purchase food and beverages from the restaurant's menu.
How long is the gift voucher valid for?
Valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
The expiration date cannot be extended, so we recommend that you use the voucher in time.
Where and how can I redeem my gift voucher?
The gift voucher can be redeemed at the Gundel Restaurant for on-site consumption.
Please indicate when reserving that you wish to pay with a gift voucher and bring the voucher (or electronic version) with you.
Can gift vouchers be purchased online?
Yes, gift vouchers can be ordered online, conveniently, with bank card payment.
After placing your order, you will recieve the vouchers in digital format via email, and if necessary, you can print out the online voucher.
Can I purchase a voucher in person?
Yes, gift vouchers can be purchased in person at the Gundel Restaurant.
We recommend calling in advance to ensure smooth processing.
You can choose from ready-made vouchers with a fixed amount of 5000 HUF / 10,000 HUF / 20,000 HUF.
What exactly can gift vouchers be used for?
The gift voucher can be used for restaurant consumption (à la carte, menu, dessert, coffee, drinks).
Not valid for events or special menu offers, nor between December 15 and January 2.
Can gift vouchers be exchanged for cash?
No, gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and unused balances cannot be refunded.
The value of the voucher can only be used for restaurant consumption within the specified validity period.
What happens if I want to spend more than the amount on the gift voucher?
Of course it's possible.
The guest can pay the difference above the gift voucher amount using another payment method (e.g., credit card, cash) on site.
We charge a 15% service fee for additional expenses.
What should I do if I lose my gift voucher?
Please keep your gift voucher in a safe place.
The restaurant accepts no responsibility for lost or damaged vouchers, and we are unable to reissue or replace vouchers.
Can I request a personalized gift voucher?
Yes, but only for personal purchases.
We can issue personalized gift certificates for a pre-arranged date; this is not possible for online purchases.
For corporate gifts, a personalized gift certificate that can be picked up in person can be a particularly elegant solution.
