Gundel Restaurant

The Gundel Restaurant in Városliget offers a truly exceptional gastronomic experience for those wishing to delve deeper into the world of wine: Mihály Fabók, three-time Hungarian Sommelier Champion, leads wine-tasting sessions, interactive blind tastings, and programmes featuring wine, cheese and chocolate. Each year, the private room in the wine cellar is named after the ‘Winemaker of the Year’, and the award-winning winemaker also presents their wines here at wine dinners throughout the year. Programmes taking place in the cellar are available to groups by prior arrangement, whilst individual guests can enjoy the restaurant’s two- or three-course dinner menu and wine pairings selected by the Gundel sommelier.
