He was subsequently appointed hotel manager at several other hotels within the Kempinski Group (in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Jordan and Austria).

Attila Bándoli, who is leaving at the end of the month, became managing director of Gundel Restaurant in 2014, having worked as deputy managing director for seven years. He began his career at HungarHotels in 1971, starting as restaurant manager at the Hungaria Hotel (now the Hotel Hungaria City Centre) and later becoming restaurant director. Between 2005 and 2008, he held the post of director of the Danubius Hotels Group’s hotels in Szováta, which also owns Gundel Restaurant. As a member of the Executive Committee of the National Association of Tourism and Hospitality Employers, he has for many years been helping to improve the competitiveness of the tourism and hospitality sector.
