„The gastronomic legacy of Károly Gundel is being showcased under the title ”Gundel at the Gellért’ at the Gellért Hotel, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.

The biggest names in the history of the Hungarian hospitality industry are joining forces for a weekend – according to the Hvg.hu. The „GundeThe ”At the Gellért” gastronomic weekend welcomes guests with a Suite Restaurant on 23 June and a Sunday brunch on 24 June. 

In the year of the hotel’s centenary, two executive head chef, with the help of Zsolt Litauszki and Gábor Müncz, they are offering an exclusive five-course menu in Suite 422, which boasts panoramic views of the Danube, for 40,000 forints. The following day, guests are enticed by the now-traditional Sunday brunch, featuring unlimited food and drink (for around 11,000 forints).
