The Gundel team is committed to a quality dining experience.
We are not your average restaurant, we are literally here to serve you. It's important to us that when you visit us, there's nothing to stop you from having a good time.

Below is a summary of the situations where we would like to ask for your cooperation in order to make your stay with us a quality and unforgettable experience.

For group reservations, table reservations for events of more than 10 people, and events, please contact us at

In case of late arrival, we can keep the reservation for 15 minutes. In the event of a change to your reservation, please let us know in advance by emailing with your reservation details and the change, or by calling our reception staff on +36 30 603 2480 to allow us to find a solution to the change of time and table size.

You can cancel your reservation using the link provided in the confirmation e-mail.

We kindly ask you to respect us and our guests by wearing Smart casual clothing in the indoor areas of our restaurant after 18:00 during dinner.

Before 18:00 and during the summer, you can also take a seat on the terrace in casual street clothes.

In general, the indoor area of our restaurant is unfortunately not suitable for pets, so please do not bring your four-legged pet with you.

During the summer, your pets are of course welcome at the terrace tables.

Our restaurant does not have its own dedicated parking space or parking service.
Parking is possible on the street. Number of public parking spaces: 1144

If you request it, our colleagues will be happy to assist you in calling and ordering a driver service and taxi for your departure.

Our restaurant is non-smoking according to current legislation.

IQOS and other electric cigarettes are not allowed inside the restaurant. During the winter, smoking is allowed in the ashtrays placed at the entrance of the restaurant. During the summer, when we are open in our garden, please use the designated smoking area in the immediate vicinity of the garden restaurant.

If you would like to request a cake from our restaurant for your event, we can provide you with the service.
Celebrate with us and surprise them with one of our delicious Gundel cakes!
Please place your order at least 4-5 days before the event by sending an e-mail to or by calling +36 30 603 2480 .

The cake can only be ordered for on-site consumption!
Prices do not include the 15% service charge

Cake offer:

Our restaurant is well-stocked and offers a wide range of drinks, so it is our policy not to accept drinks purchased elsewhere in the restaurant.

If guests sharing a table would like to settle their bill separately, please let us know at the time of reservation or on arrival at the latest. For larger groups of more than 6 persons, we can only split the bill into 2 parts.

For larger table groups, and especially during busy dinner periods, we cannot always provide a split bill.

When requesting your bill, please let us know if you wish to settle your payment with a voucher.
For printed vouchers, please make sure that the serial number is visible.
