We wish you a warm welcome to Hungary's most famous restaurant, the Gundel!


This restaurant was opened in 1894 and has borne the name of Károly Gundel since 1910. He had brilliant ideas for new flavours and for composing new dishes. He advised his chefs on which elements to combine, and when the new meals had been created, he tasted, altered, and refined them to perfection. Opened in 2021, the newly refurbished Gundel Restaurant takes Károly Gundel’s mentality, creativity, respect for his guests, and his unforgettable flavours from the world of legends and mesmerizes you with them once again.
